Getting Started

Here at Freedom Athletic Academy we do a lot more than tell you what machine to use, how many reps to do and what buttons to push. We teach you new skills, challenge you to work harder than you ever have before, and demand commitment to ensure the best possible results.

In order to ensure our program is as safe, efficient and effective as possible for everyone that trains here, our coaches take time to get to know you and give you the tools you need to succeed. We do not rush this process, and therefore we require everyone to participate in a thorough introduction to our program.

“Reaching elite levels of fitness can be intimidating and appear out of reach to many people. This is a myth and the foundations process should dispel that right away. Regardless of your current fitness level, we will get you setup for success starting with your first day. By the time you graduate you should be ready to join the group class and mix it up with our veteran clients. You’ll know the moves. You’ll know the lingo. You’ll be ready to go.”

  STEP 1: Free Trial Class

Prior to making any type of commitment, we want you to experience our workouts, coaching and gym environment first-hand. Our Free Trial Classes are offered by appointment only. Please notify us ahead of time via phone call or email to schedule your Trial Class.

Our Free Trial Class enables you to:

• Meet our coaches and get familiar with our workout environment

• Learn how we can modify all of our workouts to any fitness level

• Try a workout first-hand (optional)

• Ask questions about how the program works, membership options, our Foundations Program and anything else on your mind!


STEP 2: Foundations Program

Prior to joining our General Group Classes, everyone* must participate in Foundations, a 2week-long program designed to gradually introduce the facility, movements, training and intensity found in our program. It is designed for anyone at any fitness level who wants to train in our General Group Classes.

In this program, we will expose beginners to our movement curriculum in a private or semi-private setting. Movement techniques will be drilled, and you will receive a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.

step3STEP 3: General Group Classes

Our General Group Classes combine weightlifting, calisthenics, gymnastics and cardiovascular activity into one eclectic, efficient and incredibly effective package. Our coaches will take you through the Workout of the Day in a supportive, instructional and motivating environment. Our workouts offer infinite variety so you never get bored, and scalability so you are being challenged according to your current fitness level.
